The Parodivas are bff's and lyricists Darlene Rae Heller & Jason B Schmidt. This NYC-based musical comedy duo parodies everything from pop to musical theater & jazz all while taking shots from their famous flasks and embarrassing themselves with choreography. Known for their witty banter and hilarious lyrics, they've been making audiences spit out their drinks as Hosts or Featured Guests in comedy clubs and cabarets all over the city.

Darlene Rae Heller is a NYC-based actress, singer, voice over talent, & half of this musical comedy sensation! (Recurring role – “Darladiva.”) Darlene earned her BFA in Acting with a creative writing minor from Adelphi University. She is happily booking acting, voice over and modeling work including recently being the voice of an animated chicken AND an animated cow, a flashy role on Mystery Diagnosis and changing her clothes in front of fashion designers as a fit model all over NYC. Her parody writing career began when she grew up listening to rap and hip-hop and realized that ridiculous lyrics like, “I’m funky, I like my oatmeal lumpy” should be celebrated, not hated.
